    Made from thermally treated wood and coated aluminum, our panels enables you to elevate the exteriors in a timeless Scandinavian Design.

    When mounting the panel, it covers less than the full panel size since the panels are mounted [_with a small overlap_](https://woodupp.com/guides/aluwood-installation-guide/#header-7) when installing.

    **Materials and maintenance**

    Aluwood panels are made from thermally treated spruce wood, which gives them their brown color. The black and grey panels are also thermally treated and then painted to achieve their respective colors. The aluminum is powder coated in black.

    Thanks to their thermal treatment, Aluwood panels need no extra maintenance. If you’d like to keep the wood from turning grey over time, simply apply water-based oil once a year. Just remember, once you start oiling, it’s best to keep up the yearly application to maintain the look.
